X-rays can identify many different conditions, and they are often a fast and easy method for your doctor to make a diagnosis.

FOUR-STAGE FILTRATION

We use an innovative four-stage filtration process that traps and removes airborne pathogens, including particulates as small as 0.3 micrometers (or micron), plus vapors, organic odors, and moisture. To give you an idea of just how well our equipment picks up the tiniest of particles, a single micron is 1,000 times smaller than 1 millimeter – and our system is able to capture airborne substances much smaller than a single micron. Here is how this is accomplished:

  • Stage 1. A disposable cone that fits into the opening of the intake hose, nearest the patient’s mouth, removes moisture in the air being expelled and captures any airborne particulates larger than 50 microns.
  • Stage 2. A prefilter and prefilter pad in our equipment captures smaller airborne particulates – as small as 10 microns, as air is brought into the air-purifier at 770 cfm.
  • Stage 3. A certified HEPA filter captures the smallest airborne particulates – substances as small as 0.3 microns.
  • Stage 4. A filter made of activated and specially blended carbon traps and removes vapor (including harmful mercury vapor) as well as organic odors from the air.
